Hazbin Hotel's Creator Has Seen Fans' Second Season Predictions — And She Has Good News

The much-anticipated Season 2 of the musical adult cartoon Hazbin Hotel debuts on the streaming platform soon, and audience theories has been widespread.

The first season presents a large cast of characters residing in Hell and Heaven, pits them against each other accompanied by songs detailing their conflicts, and builds tense rivalries and emotional bonds that fuel audience devotion.

The community's expectations for season 2 vary widely, but certain themes recur frequently: Could Angel Dust break free from Valentino? Might we learn more about the binding agreement affecting Alastor the Radio Demon? Might certain characters' relationships evolve?

"Obviously, I don't produce the show with fan service specifically in mind," the creator stated earlier this year. "However I believe that me being a devotee of the series means there's a lot of it just naturally. I also want to see these things, and I want some of these things to happen, and obviously some of these things are meant to happen in the show!"

The creator says her big-picture plan is for five seasons of Hazbin Hotel. Seasons 3 and 4 have received approval by Prime Video and A24, which finance the series.

That might mean fans have to wait years for some of the biggest payoffs — but they may be surprised at how quickly the new season progresses, and how much of what they're waiting for unfolds this season.

"I feel like people are going to be highly satisfied," the creator notes. "We get some firsts. I think we get some incredible reveals, some really cool backstories, and even basic elements, [like] I hope this character gets a song. […] Audiences will experience much more singing from the previously silent cast members."

She's certainly aware of the guesses and hopes about the upcoming season — particularly in the form of audience prediction charts.

"I've come across a few fans create a prediction grid about the new season," she mentions. "Naturally I can't post it, but I've actually done a few items, and almost all of them have almost a bingo. I thought, Oh, if you put this [event] in this spot, it would be a bingo. So that makes me think we do a lot [of what fans are waiting for in this season], because I was like, Oh, there's multiple potential bingos on this card. So that makes me happy."

Hazbin Hotel the second season launches on the streaming service on October 29.
